Other Lodges Called Pegasus
There are currently four Lodges Called Pegasus in the English Constitution. They are:
Pegasus Lodge no. 2205
Metropolitan Grand Lodge Currently meeting at Freemasons Hall, Great Queen St. London, and Consecrated on the 27th July 1887, as a nautical lodge in Gravesend, Kent. Province of Buckinghamshire (Our very own) Consecrated 21st September 1936, at The Masonic Hall, Ripon Street, Aylesbury. |
Pegasus Lodge no. 9124
Province of North Wales Currently meeting at The Masonic Hall, High St. Caergwrle, Wrexham, and consecrated on the 16th July 1984, in Wrexham, Wales. The lodge was sponsored by Berwyn Lodge no.7361, and founded due to the large number of candidates waiting to be initiated in the county of Clwyd at that time. The name Pegasus was chosen due to it's strong mythological heritage, and also due to the proximity of the headquarters of the Royal Welsh Fusiliers who had served with the Airborne Forces. http://www.nwmasons.org/index.html# |
